Mark your 2010 calendar folks, a new restaurant, Café in the Heights: Where Neighbors & Friends Meet, plans to have its grand opening on Saturday, January 9 at noon in the Lincoln Heights community.
The restaurant, located just across the street from the Lincoln Heights High school, features, coffee, espresso, ice coffee, fresh fruit juices, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, and ice cream.

Because the restaurant was closed at the time this blog entry was gathered, I was not able to speak to the owner or its employees for further information. However, a reviewer from Yelp, a website where consumers review local businesses, was able to explore inside its venue during its operating hours after its December 12th “soft opening.”
The reviewer, Angelina, whose full last name is not given, highly recommends the place to local and visiting customers for their friendly staffs and their lattes. Angelina also mentions the restaurant features free wi-fi internet connection.
Since Lincoln Heights does not have an official café spot, Café in the Heights, as Angelina points out, is a great addition to the community.
