Something Wicked This Way Comes

There’s a ghost in one of the libraries in East L.A. – (or so I’ve heard).

Its presence is known when books mysteriously fall off from the shelves, and lay scattered about on the floor.

The ghost also makes random knocking sounds when a staff is working late alone at night or happens to be the only one left in the building.

No one have seen this ghost or felt its presence, but have only heard its tapping when it comes rapping upon the chamber core in this library known as Malabar.

Malabar's chamber shelves.
Malabar’s chamber shelves.

And so when the last patron leaves and the last library staff closes its door, the ghost remains: haunting, guarding, and floating around the shelves and in between the rooms at Malabar forever more.
